'PHANTOM OF THE THEME PARK' from DEAD END: Paranormal Park | Animatic + Layout, Patrick Stump Demo
Here's my contribution to #DeadEndParanormalPark mania. The original animatic for "Phantom of the Theme Park": a mixture of storyboard and layout stages by our incredible teams, edited and track-layed by me with a few sfx . Also featuring Patrick Stump's final demo, lyrics by Hamish Steele, directed by Liz Whitaker, head of story Adrian Maganza, head of layout Ilaria Ponticelli.

Hamish Steele has the boards for “My Frankenstein” and “Driver’s Seat” on his channel
First of all, this is absolutely fantastic! I've watched it several times now. One thing I notice here that I really love is at about 2:19 and onward, the glowing green effects vaguely take the shape of a phoenix's wings, which I think is a nice touch and excellent symbolism. The phoenix theming with Pauline stuck out to me as I watched the show--her name being a nod to her story of being "reborn" and coming back from the dead, and the wing shapes in this storyboard are an excellent touch.

Which aspect of it? Like, Courtney swinging on a chandelier _could_ be a reference to Phantom of the Opera and its setpiece, but also given the name of the song it might not be the strongest thing? Beyond that my reference memory fails
@@elenafriese891 Didn't see your comment until now, but it is the way that Courtney is looking through the chandelier, the expression and the angle of it... Tho it is more familiar in the finished animation.
